Off-Rent Inspections Overview

An off-rent inspection is a return condition assessment performed when a rental asset is brought back from a customer. It documents the asset's condition on return and identifies any damage that may be chargeable to the customer.

When it is used: When a customer returns a rental asset.

Key characteristics:

• Tied to the specific rental order for that asset
• Photo documentation of damage is especially important
