Tasks Timeline
The Tasks Timeline Tab provides a better visual for viewing tasks in a chronological form. To view tasks in form of a Gantt Chart, head to the Service Page via the Left Navigation Menu and click on the Tasks Timeline Tab.
The Timeline Tasks tab features a Gantt Chart that displays task grouped under their respective assignees. A filter atop the table allows for filtering tasks against an assignee.
The tables displays tasks that fall within the next 15 business days and beyond. The left side of the table displays information pertaining to the task, whilst the right side of the table displays a calendar for 15 business days. Each task row displays some information pertaining to the task on the left, and displays a variably sized bar that indicates the span of the task on the calendar. Bars are colored based on task level, and show moving stripes if the task is in progress.
The last column shows number of days beyond the calendar that a task would take if the task spans beyond the calendar's limit.
Triple arrows on a task's bar near the corner of the calendar indicate that the task also spans beyond the calendar in the opposite direction of the arrows.
Hovering over the first two columns of a task row triggers a tooltip that shows more details pertaining to that task.
Clicking on a task row opens the Task Popup. Right Clicking on a task row opens up an action menu, very similar to the one on the Tasks Table on the Tasks Tab
