Freight
Note: Freight Companies can only be viewed and created by organizational users who have been granted relevant permissions
Freight Companies are entities that provide service for asset delivery and returns, to and from customers. To view Freight Companies, head to the Platform Settings Page via links available on the Left Navigation Bar and click on the Freight Tab to open the Freights Page.
The Freights Page features a filter atop the Freight Companies Table.
Creating A New Freight Company
A new freight company can be created via the following steps:
Step 1 - Open The New Freight Popup
Head to the Platform Settings Page via links available on the Left Navigation Bar and click on the Freight Tab to open the Freight Page. Click on the + Create button on the top right corner of the Freight Page to open the New Freight Popup
Step 2 - Provide Information On The New Freight Popup
Step 3 - Save Information
Once you have provided a name for the freight company, click on the Save & Close button to submit information and have it stored into our database.
Editing A Freight Company
A newly created freight company appears on the Freight Companies Table on the Freight Page. Follow the steps below to edit a freight's information
Step 1 - Open The Edit Freight Popup
Head to the Platform Settings Page via links available on the Left Navigation Bar and click on the Freight Tab to open the Freight Page. On the Freight Page, search for your desired freight company's row in the Freight Table and click on it to open the Edit Freight Popup.
The Edit Freight Popup features an info bar at the top, that displays the freight company's name and a delete button.
Step 2 - Edit And Save Desired Information
To modify information, simply click on a field and enter/modify information. Once modified, clicking the Save button will sync this information on our servers.
Deleting A Freight Company
To delete a freight company, head to the Platform Settings Page via links available on the Left Navigation Bar and click on the Freight Tab to open the Freight Page. On the Freight Page, search for your desired freight company's row in the Freight Companies Table and click on it to open the Edit Freight Popup.
The Edit Freight Popup features an info bar at the top, that displays the freight company's name and a delete button at the top right corner. Clicking on the delete button will prompt user with a confirmation message. Confirm the prompt to delete the freight company.
Click on the delete button to confirm the users deletion.
