Platform Settings - Assets Page

To view the Assets Page, head to the Platform Settings Page via links available on the Left Navigation Bar and click on the Assets Tab (if not already selected).

The Assets Page allows viewing/modifying settings pertaining to assets.

The Basics Tab allows viewing/modifying the following settings:

  1. Prioritize Exact Asset ID Match: This setting controls how user views results when searching for assets on orders. If checked, an exact match for an asset ID will be shown first. If not checked, search will smartly show less used alternatives first.
  2. Auto Generate Asset Name Fields: This setting controls what fields are used to auto generate Asset Name
  3. Auto Create Hour Meter Scheduled Maintenance Tasks: This setting controls to make the maintenance tasks based on hour meter
  4. Default Task Level for Auto-Created Maintenance Tasks: This setting allows to set the default task level for maintenance tasks.
  5. Auto Create Calendar Interval Scheduled Maintenance Tasks: This setting controls to make the maintenance tasks based on the interval.
  6. Auto Create Calendar Interval Scheduled Inspections: This setting controls to make the inspections based on the interval.
  7. Allow Multiple Open Maintenance Tasks: This setting controls to make multiple maintenance tasks.
  8. Flag Unreasonable Hours On Inspection: This setting is used to show warning on off rent inspections where actual hours used crosses the reasonable hour.
  9. Default Asset Details Template: The default template used to collect details on assets, if the asset's category does not provide a dedicated template.
  10. Default Asset Inspection Template: The default template used for asset inspections, if the asset's category does not provide a dedicated template.
  11. Inspection Link Expiry Duration: This setting controls the number of hours before a public inspection link expires.

To modify information, simply edit the field and click on the Save Settings button to sync settings with the server.
