Note: Categories and Form Templates can only be viewed by organizational users who have been granted relevant permissions

To view categories and form templates, head to the Categories Page via links available on the Left Navigation Bar.

The Categories Page features four tabs:

Categories

Categories are a classification concept for assets. They are used to classify assets and define shared/inherited data values for assets of the same category.

Asset Detail Templates

The Asset Detail Templates Tab features a list of all available Asset Detail templates.

Asset Detail Templates are re-usable form documents that can be filled out to collect data about assets. Copies of a template can be attached to several different entities at once, or made available on demand. Before being filled out, each copy of a Asset Detail template is usually identical and empty. These copies can then be filled out to collect data.

Two filters atop the list allow for filtering templates.

Click on a template's row to open the Form Template Popup, which shows all items within the template.

Inspection Form Templates

The Inspection Form Templates Tab features a list of all available Inspection Form templates.

Inspection Form Templates are re-usable form documents that can be filled out to collect data during inspections. Copies of a template can be attached to several different entities at once, or made available on demand. Before being filled out, each copy of a Inspection Form Templates is usually identical and empty. These copies can then be filled out to collect data.

Two filters atop the list allow for filtering templates.

Click on a template's row to open the Form Template Popup, which shows all items within the template.

Form Template Items

The Form Template Items Tab features a list of all form template items that are used to build form templates. A filter atop the table allows filtering items by type.
